GPProjects Smokin' Controller

The smokin' range of DMX controllers was made after a request from a leading lighting equipment supplier in the UK. They wanted a unit to provide a drop in replacement for their stock of JEM ZR20 smoke machines.

This replacment controller had to fit within the same physical constraints of the standard remote but allow the smoke machine to be controlled via USITT DMX512 from a lighting desk. The product 'Smokin' was produced and has subsequently been used to enhance many prestigious productions including 'The Last Night Of The Proms'.

Smokin' has been designed to be a direct replacment for the standard remote on the JEM ZR20 or Fogger smoke machines, however more recently a new version has been made supporting the JEM Technofog smoke machines.

The following versions are available:
1) v1.0 - JEM ZR20 Mk3 Variable output
2) v1.1 - JEM ZR20 Mk1
3) v1.2 - JEM Fogger
4) v2.0 - JEM Technofog
